 In class we have been reflecting on our year.

I looked at the goals I set at the beginning of the year. Then I had to think whether I have achieved my goal or not. My goal was to get better at reading .

I  also reflected on my favourite and my least favourite about school.

Book club

 Hi my name is Kymaira we do this thing called book club. A book club is when you read and you have to do a job to complete the task.

You have to pick a book and read part of your chosen book, then you fill out a card that has some tasks on it. Then you have to talk to your ropu/group about  what figurative language you see in the book like a simile and write  words that you don't know or you think are interesting and  then your group agrees on one.

 I worked with Naquita.  The challenge was to see how far it can go.  

We made the ramp of cardboard and tape our one was step so we fixed it by flattening it then we tried it and we got 29cm.

Photosynthesis is the process that plants go through so they can live.

plants use to grow and survive every plant has a steams but plants have allsorts of  stems the plant need water, air, sunlight and there are 300,000 different plants in our world Isn't that amazing . some plants have  taproot System. Not all roots grow underground. Some rise from the stem.

No one believes me, they think i'm lying, but it's true there is a big hairy monster lives under my bed and I can prove it. I took my mum's phone  but there was a major problem. It was so high up, so I got a chair to reach for the phone. I got it and put it on video record and waited till it comes out. suddenly I heard a growl. I thought it was the monster so i peeped under my bed and i saw the hairy monster it had long sharp claws and had dark brown Skin. it tried grabbing me but I was so quick It didn't get me .When it tried to reach  for me it had long arms . I tried to stay up in tried to get more  information I was so tired I didn't say up that long  .  when I've to that when i step on foot out that door it will come a take. When i got out of the house i went to school showed the video my friends then they believe me same as my mum. So my mum and me moved out……. 4 months later  we lived happily ever after the end

Nga huarere

Kia ora, for the past 2 weeks we have been doing nga huarere in te reo Maori and this is my weather forecast i made on Ata Hapara tv. what i enjoy doing this is saying the rerenga, learning about the weather  in te reo Maori. 

I have some question. what is the weather in tamaki-makau-rau. what is the weather in ahuriri in te reo maori
